Welcome to Vinci Travel and Tours! By booking a tour, safari, or any service with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
1. Definitions
- “Company,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our” refers to Vinci Travel and Tours.
- “Client,” “You,” or “Your” refers to the person booking or using our services.
- “Services” refers to all tours, safaris, transport, and related activities provided by Vinci Travel and Tours.
2. Booking and Payment
- All bookings must be made in advance through our website, email, or phone.
- A deposit of 20% is required to confirm your booking. Full payment must be made 14 days before the tour starts.
- Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other approved methods.
- Failure to make full payment on time may result in cancellation without a refund.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellations by the Client:
- More than 14 days before departure: Full refund minus admin fees.
- Less than 7 days before departure: 10% refund.
- Less than 48 hours before departure: No refund.
- Cancellations by Vinci Travel and Tours:
- If we cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, safety concerns, or government restrictions), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

4. Travel Documents and Insurance
- You are responsible for ensuring that you have valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and other travel documents required for your trip.
- We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, cancellations, and personal liability.
5. Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk
- Wildlife & Outdoor Risks: Our safaris and outdoor activities take place in natural environments with wild animals. While our guides take every precaution, we cannot guarantee complete safety. Clients must follow all safety instructions given by our guides.
- Health & Fitness: Some tours require moderate physical activity. If you have any health conditions, please inform us before booking.
- Liability Waiver: By participating in our activities, you acknowledge and accept all risks associated with outdoor travel, including injury, illness, property loss, or force majeure events.
6. Responsibilities of Vinci Travel and Tours
- We will provide services as advertised, ensuring experienced guides, reliable transport, and well-planned itineraries.
- We are not responsible for delays, accidents, loss of property, or third-party service failures (e.g., airlines, lodges, or transport providers).
- We reserve the right to alter itineraries due to safety concerns, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.
7. Code of Conduct
- Clients must respect local customs, wildlife, and fellow travelers.
- Any behavior that is disruptive, illegal, or endangers others will result in immediate termination of services without a refund.
- Wildlife must be observed from a safe distance—no feeding or disturbing animals.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes shall be resolved in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.
